- How do we solve locus problems ?
There are two different types of locus :
- Locus #1 : one point as a circle
- Locus #2 : two fixed points that make a perpendicular bisector
The Locus is the set of all points that satisfy a given condition.
A Locus is a general graph of a given equation.
The Locus of points equidistant from two points is the perpendicular bisector of the line segment connecting the two points. ( a line through the middle of the two points )
If the circle has one line :
The Locus of points equidistant from a line are two lines as opposite sides , equidistant and parallel to that line.
Two parallel lines : a line through the middle of the lines
